MO Training and Consultancy have, for the past four years, provided a range of training to Swindon Borough Council Foster Carers, Adopters and staff members. They have developed specific training courses for carers looking after teenagers, and these have courses have been very well received.
This training has enabled carers in building skills and gaining knowledge to help children and adolescents in their recovery from difficult past experiences and trauma. They are delivered in small groups in a friendly, supportive and interactive environment by experienced trainers.
Olivia and Milly work well together, are extremely knowledgeable, come very well prepared and have adapted the courses to best meet the needs of those attending. I am impressed with the positive feedback received from carers, including experienced carers.
Fostering and Adoption Team. Swindon Borough Council - Assistant Manager
The Kingfisher team received training around child behaviour and risks. The training was delivered to Police and Social Care staff when the team was in its infancy. The information was delivered in a professional manner but was not over bearing and kept the audience captivated.

The training covered various areas of child brain development and how this would have an impact on the way they take risks. From a police perspective it was beneficial in understanding why children behave in certain ways and how this helps us best dealing with victims of CSE.

Very valuable training.
Thames Valley Police - Child Sexual Exploitation Team
Olivia and Milly delivered training to officers from our Domestic Abuse Investigation Team. Some were very new to the role, some had been in post for a significant period of time.

I was impressed by the way that the training was tailored to meet the needs of the diverse audience and the feedback from the students was indicative of how well it was received. Tackling Domestic Abuse is a subject where there is always an opportunity to learn more and it was clear that even the most experienced detectives recognised this during the course of the day.

Olivia and Milly worked really well together. The training was interactive and balanced with (appropriate) humour. I would recommend that anyone involved in the investigation of domestic abuse should consider MO Training and Consultancy if they are seeking to raise awareness and understanding.

Milly won the award for the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust 'Volunteer of the Year' 2015 for her work with their Youth Wellbeing Project. This project offers conservation and wild play activities that create positive changes with some of Wiltshire’s most vulnerable young people.

The judge said "I was impressed by Milly's commitment to volunteering in what can be a challenging environment, providing a positive and supportive role model. Milly understands complex needs and because of her compassionate nature allows these young people a chance to feel supported whilst understanding wildlife, nature and conservation tasks and engaging in our environment. Very impressed!"
